As women, we also have an infradian rhythm that runs every 21-35 days governing our menstrual cycles. The answer to this is simple: single sessions are a waste of your money and time. You can’t work with a personal trainer once and then become an athlete. Your nutritional story is the same – it takes consistency, showing up, and being dedicated to your honest transformation. Lifestyle change doesn’t happen overnight. Investing in yourself, taking your time and showing up with intention will get you there. We can only achieve this through a long term relationship! I do offer a payment plan to make mentorship more accessible.

Although fat loss and body transformation is a passion of mine, it’s not my focus. I respect that as women, our bodies can change a lot through our lives (I’ve lost and gained the same 70lbs twice), and sometimes focusing on “weight” and “fat” is detrimental to our mental health. If weight loss is a goal for you, we can certainly work toward this. However, I always encourage my clients to question the motivation behind weight loss. Most women will discover that they have a desire to look more “toned” which has more to do with building muscle than losing weight. If you have significant weight to lose, we can work together to make this a sustainable long-term goal that avoids the intense restrictions and deprivation of traditional dieting.

Have to? No. However, as a recommendation this will vary from person to person. For some, tracking food is a useful metric and provides data and information that is useful for self reflection. For others, tracking food is triggering and can lead down a path of disordered eating. I do recommend clients to follow some sort of self reflection method to increase body awareness – whether it’s a food/mood journal or tracking through an app (I recommend Chronometer as it is very well rounded and educational). This can be a long term or very temporary option, depending on how it resonates for you.

Not exactly. I do provide recipes and meal plan ideas so you can get comfortable designing an eating pattern that works for you. I can create macro plans if needed.

My focus will always be to educate you on traditional, ancestral and unprocessed foods, helping you understand why these foods benefit your body. When you feel the results of this, you’ll often find that you stop craving many highly processed foods, and they stop having a hold over you. That being said, I will not ask you to stop eating your favourite foods. We want to nourish – which means adding in, not taking away.
