Welcome! I'm Shay, and I'm on a mission to empower women to reclaim their health and well-being in a holistic and sustainable way. I’m a registered holistic nutritionist, and I both self experimented and studied various wellness practices over the years. You can learn more about my education here.

My journey hasn't been a straight line. I've navigated through my own decades long struggle with anxiety and depression, overcoming the reliance on substances to mask these challenges. Along the way, I discovered the power of holistic healing, transforming my own battles with GERD, IBS, extremely painful periods and navigating the complexities of weight loss and gain with a newfound perspective on body neutrality.

For me, health is not a number on a scale; it's a dynamic equilibrium of mind, body, and spirit. That's why I'm passionate about guiding women towards long-term wellness by addressing the root causes of their health concerns. It’s not through any one diet or lifestyle change. It’s not a quick fix or another desperate diet — it’s a transformation about our attitudes around food, movement, mindset and medicine itself.

Nature and circadian health plays a profound role in this journey. I believe in the healing power of reconnecting with the natural world, whether it's through mindful walks in the forest, grounding practices on the beach, or simply taking a moment to pause and breathe in the fresh air. Nature reminds us of our innate connection to the earth, the wholeness of our bodies, and offers profound solace for our mind and spirit.

Being down to earth is not just a philosophy; it's a way of life. I advocate for a return to simplicity, emphasizing the importance of whole, unprocessed foods that nourish our bodies from the inside out. After struggling with IBS I discovered the transformative benefits of converting to an ancestral, traditional way of eating. This shift, after being vegan or “plant based” for six years, opened my eyes to the profound impact that food choices can have on our health and well-being.

Circadian nutrition is another cornerstone of my approach to wellness. Our bodies operate on a natural rhythm dictated by the rising and setting of the sun, and honoring this rhythm is essential for optimal health. From prioritizing restorative sleep to aligning our eating patterns with the natural cycles of the day, harnessing the power of circadian biology can have profound effects on mental wellness and hormonal balance.
